Arsenal have reportedly begun talks with Queens Park Rangers over the signing of goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
The Gunners have been touted as a possible destination for the former Inter Milan shot-stopper, who has expressed a desire to stay in London.
Arsenal are willing to match Cesar's wages, which are believed to be £80,000 a week, on a two-year contract with the option of a third, but the Gunners are unwilling to offer more than £1m to QPR, according to Goal.com.
The R's are thought to be open to selling Cesar in order to alleviate their heavy wage bill.
