Arsenal are reportedly open to allowing Emile Smith Rowe to leave the Emirates this summer, amid interest from Fulham and Crystal Palace for the midfielder's services.

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to let Emile Smith Rowe leave the club this summer.

The 23-year-old has been on the fringes of Mikel Arteta's XI over recent seasons, with the Gunners evolving into regular title challengers alongside Manchester City and Liverpool.

Smith Rowe appeared in just 13 Premier League matches for Arsenal during the 2023-24 campaign, with only three of those appearances coming from the start.

The permanent arrivals of Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice from Real Madrid and West Ham United respectively have pushed the youngster down the pecking order in North London.

Smith Rowe's career highlight at the Emirates to date was the 2021-22 term, when he netted 11 goals and provided two assists across 37 competitive matches.

Arsenal's Smith Rowe to leave for Fulham?

According to Football Insider, Arsenal are preparing to cut long-term ties with academy graduate Smith Rowe ahead of the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The report claims that the Gunners are looking to offload the 23-year-old, whose departure could raise all-important funds for the summer transfer window.

It is understood that fellow Premier League outfit Fulham are keen on Smith Rowe, with the Cottagers aiming to push on after a mid-table finish last campaign.

Marco Silva's side are said to have commenced preliminary discussions with the midfielder's camp over a potential move across the capital in the coming weeks.

There is also believed to be interest from Crystal Palace, who are being tipped by many as possible contenders for a European spot under the leadership of manager Oliver Glasner.

Is Smith Rowe an adequate Michael Olise replacement?

The Eagles are in the market for an attacking star following the departure of France Under-21 international Michael Olise to German giants Bayern Munich.

The winger managed 16 goal contributions in just 19 Premier League matches for Palace, linking up in sensational fashion with fellow attackers Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eberechi Eze.

Although it is unlikely that Smith Rowe could replicate such numbers immediately, the 23-year-old has the potential to grow into a key player at Selhurst Park.

It is believed that the three-time England international is determined to stay at the Emirates and fight for his place, however the midfielder's wishes could change as the new season approaches.
