Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has insisted that he remains "committed" to the Gunners, despite speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
The 25-year-old's agent Flavio Ferraria has been quoted as saying that the defender is closing in on a switch to Napoli. However, Djourou has claimed that this is far from the case.
"I just wanted to deny all what have been said in the press about my transfer," Djourou wrote on Twitter. "It isn't true at all. I have been at Arsenal since 10 years now and I m always committed to this club."
Djourou struggled to maintain a spot in Arsene Wenger's starting lineup during the Gunners' season, which has since prompted talk of a possible departure for the defender.
