Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has suggested that he would be open to joining Roma this summer.
The Switzerland international has allegedly emerged as a transfer target for the Italian giants, with a recent report claiming that incoming manager Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the 28-year-old.
Xhaka has insisted that he is currently "100% focused" on representing his country at Euro 2020 but has hinted that he would be interested in a switch to Italy during this summer's transfer window.
"Of course I read [about the interest]. But now I'm one 100% focused on the national team here," Xhaka told Blick. "That's more important than Arsenal or rumours right now.
"I have another two years on my contract in London and Arsenal they know what they have in me. When the time comes to talk about a transfer, I'll be here.
"To be honest, I didn't hear what Mourinho has said about me. But that makes you proud. Everyone knows Mourinho, knows what he has achieved. Mourinho knows how to win titles. You can now see what work I have done over the past few years."
Xhaka was again a key player for Arsenal during the 2020-21 campaign, making 45 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.
