Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that there have been no offers made for centre-back Christopher Samba.
The 27-year-old has been linked with North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham but Glaswegian Kean insists that no formal bid has been made.
"We have had no bids for Chris and we have had no bids for any other player at this stage and we would like to keep it like that," Kean told Sky Sports News.
"Chris is only a couple of months into a five-year contract, so hopefully the bids don't come in and we can keep Chris as part of a defence that proved very, very solid towards the end of the season."
A move appeared likely at the turn of the year, when Samba announced that he was looking to leave the club in the wake of the Venky's takeover.
However, he was talked around by Kean - who replaced Sam Allardyce as manager - and signed a new long-term contract in February.
