Liverpool are interested in signing Blackburn defender Chris Samba, according to reports.
The Congo international, who hired a new agent after the summer, is believed to be frustrated with life at Ewood Park following Blackburn's poor start to the season. Furthermore, according to The People, he is eager to make a move elsewhere.
While Samba was linked with a move to the Emirates in the summer, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger opted to sign German giant Per Mertesacker instead.
Meanwhile, despite signing Sebastian Coates from Nacional in August, Liverpool are understood to still be in the hunt for a centre-back to replace aging star Jamie Carragher and could make a move in January.
