Queens Park Rangers are reportedly considering a surprise move for former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The 28-year-old spent 10 years with the Gunners - scoring 24 times in 100 appearances - before moving to Wolfsburg in 2014 but is currently without a club after having his contract terminated by the Bundesliga outfit in April.
According to ESPN, Hoops manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink "sees Bendtner's experience and talents as adding something to his squad" as he looks to get the side promoted back to the Premier League this term.
Hasselbaink has already recruited seven new faces to Loftus Road this summer, including Jordan Cousins, Jake Bidwell and Joel Lynch, while the likes of Matt Phillips, Leroy Fer, Alejandro Faurlin and Rob Green have been allowed to leave.
QPR have made a decent start to the new Championship season and sit sixth in the nascent league table after two wins and a draw from their opening four matches.
