Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is "afraid" of Chelsea's potential activity in the summer transfer market.
The Blues, backed by billionaire Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich, have recently been linked with a big-money move for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.
"I'm afraid of what Chelsea can do in the summer," Wenger told Eurosport. "We have to be prepared for them to be one of the biggest movers in terms of investment once the window opens.
"Even though they already have a great base to their squad, notably their young players such as Oscar, Juan Mata, Ramires and Eden Hazard, I think they will be busy during the transfer window."
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Fiorentina over a summer move for striker Stevan Jovetic.
