Aston Villa striker Grant Holt believes that the club's supporters are beginning to see an improvement from forward duo Christian Benteke and Andreas Weimann.
Benteke and Weimann netted just seven goals between them before Christmas as Villa struggled near the bottom of the Premier League table. With both scoring in recent weeks to help their side up to 10th, Holt believes that they are ready to rediscover their form from last season.
The 32-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "It's all about just getting the confidence back up for them.
"When you're not scoring, some forwards take it to heart a little bit. It takes away from your game, you start thinking about the goals and I think that's what's happened.
"But they're now doing things that probably they did last year and just came naturally. They're doing little things and tricks and even in training, you can see it's coming off."
Holt was brought in by manager Paul Lambert to challenge Benteke and Weimann, but the former Norwich City attacker has found himself limited to just one start.
