Paul Lambert unsure of Aston Villa future

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert admits that he is unsure about his future with the club.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has admitted that he is unsure about his future with the club.

The West Midlands outfit were beaten 4-0 by Manchester City on Wednesday evening, as they suffered a sixth defeat from their last eight league games.

"What he's going to say in the next six or seven days I really don't know," he told Sky Sports News.

"This club has got to be stronger. It's too big a club. It's a brilliant club with a fabulous fan base.

"Any club that wins a European Cup creates history and tradition and this club has got it in abundance. This team has got to live up to it and at the minute we haven't done it."

Aston Villa are currently 15th in the Premier League table.
