Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish sings Robbie Keane's praises after the on-loan striker scored twice in his side's 3-2 win over Wolves.

Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has hailed the performance of loanee striker Robbie Keane in his side's 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Keane, on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy, scored twice against his old club to hand Villa a win over their Midlands rivals, and McLeish was full of praise for the Republic of Ireland international.

"He's just stunning. Absolutely stunning, and how many times has he done that over his career?" said McLeish.

"It was wonderful to see his shot going in off the underside of the crossbar. A brilliant shot.

"Robbie's got that nous and that experience as I said when we signed him which young players can look and learn from."

The result puts Wolves into the bottom three of the Premier League, while Villa move up to 11th.
