Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez has insisted that he suffered no lasting damage following a head clash with teammate Cristian Ansaldi in the weekend friendly with Wolfsburg.
Suarez spent the night in hospital following the clash, undergoing a CT scan as a precaution.
However, the Spaniard has said that he is now "much better".
"I'm much better. It was just a scare. Many thanks for all your messages," Suarez tweeted.
Atletico beat Wolfsburg 5-1 in the pre-season clash, with new signing Mario Mandzukic on the scoresheet.
