David Villa delighted with three points

David Villa reveals his delight after netting twice in Atletico Madrid's 2-0 win over Celta Vigo.

Atletico Madrid forward David Villa has revealed his delight after netting twice in Saturday's 2-0 win over Celta Vigo in La Liga.

The Spaniard's second-half brace moved the capital outfit to the top of the table due to their superior head-to-head record over Real Madrid, who face Levante this evening.

"These points put us back in the fight for the title," Villa told reporters at a press conference.

"It was a tough game and a tough opponent. All points are important but we have to go Sunday to Sunday. Every game we play now is a final and we need to win them all.

"We took advantage of the space on the pitch and changed the game in a couple of minutes. I'm happy my goals helped the team and I'll keep working."

Villa has scored 13 league goals for Atletico this season.
