Luis Suarez has claimed that it is Barcelona's "turn to win" El Clasico as the Spanish champions prepare to welcome Real Madrid to Camp Nou on Sunday afternoon.
Barcelona have failed to win the last three Clasicos at Camp Nou and played out a 2-2 draw with Madrid towards the end of last season.
Ernesto Valverde's side would move seven points clear of Madrid in La Liga with a win this weekend, and Suarez is hopeful that his team can overcome their bitter rivals.
"We want to win, for the fans, ourselves and to stay top. It's our turn to win and we hope it is on Sunday. You try to play the same as you normally do in a Clasico, but you can't. You think more and you're more focused," Suarez told Mundo Deportivo.
"The adrenaline is something else and the atmosphere is different. It's different but we try to do the same as always."
Barcelona have won three and drawn two of their five home league matches at the start of the 2018-19 campaign.
