Barcelona full-back Daniel Alves has praised new coach Gerardo Martino, claiming that the Argentine has renewed the side's intensity.
Martino replaced Tito Vilanova last month after the Spaniard had to step down due to health issues.
"Tata Martino is a good coach," Alves told the club's official website.
"He's given us that intensity that we perhaps lost over the years. With this spirit we will once again be able to do great things.
"The fans can get excited about this team because the players are ready to give it their all."
Barca put eight goals past Santos in their latest pre-season friendly yesterday.
