Barcelona confirm Coutinho signing
Barcelona confirm the signing of Philippe Coutinho on a five-year contract from Liverpool.

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Philippe Coutinho on a five-year contract from Liverpool.

The Brazilian's deal, which runs until 2023 and features a buy-out clause of £355m, was confirmed via the club's Twitter account on Monday afternoon.

Coutinho will not be able to make his debut for around 20 days, however, after the 25-year-old's medical revealed a thigh strain.

The midfielder is expected to be formally presented to the Barcelona faithful inside Camp Nou at 12.30pm GMT.

Coutinho's £142m move has made him the second-most expensive player behind former Barca forward Neymar.
