Barcelona's Luis Suarez eyes further trophies

Fresh from helping Barcelona to win the Club World Cup, Luis Suarez switches his attention to lifting further trophies this season.

Luis Suarez has turned his attention to winning further trophies after he helped Barcelona to lift the Club World Cup earlier today.

The Uruguayan scored twice in the second half as Barca recorded a 3-0 win over River Plate in Japan.

However, rather than rest on their laurels, Suarez has encouraged his teammates to maintain their focus for the remainder of the season.

"The team made huge sacrifices to come into this game in the right condition," he told the club's official website.

"Our next target is to make sure that our level doesn't drop off because we still hope to win a lot more trophies."

Last season Luis Enrique's side won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, and they remain in contention for those three prizes this term.
