Barcelona set date for Antoine Griezmann unveiling?

Barcelona set aside July 11 to unveil Antoine Griezmann as a new signing at Camp Nou, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly set aside July 11 to unveil Antoine Griezmann as a new signing at Camp Nou.

Griezmann has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish champions since announcing that he would be leaving Atletico Madrid this summer.

The attacker's release clause has now dropped to £107m and it has been reported that Barca will meet that price in order to bring the France international to Camp Nou.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants are confident of securing a deal for the 2018 World Cup winner and want to unveil him to the club's supporters on July 11.

Manchester United are believed to have made a late attempt to convince Griezmann to snub a move to the La Liga champions in favour of switching to the Premier League.

However, the 28-year-old, who has scored 133 times for Atletico in all competitions, appears to be now closing in on a move to Ernesto Valverde's side.
