One of the great goalkeepers of the generation celebrates his birthday today as Bayern Munich and Germany stalwart Manuel Neuer turns 34.
The 2014 World Cup winner has enjoyed an illustrious career and is largely credited with redefining the goalkeeper's position, ushering in the modern style of playing out from the back.
Neuer has won almost everything there is to win as part of the Bayern and Germany teams, while on an individual basis he has been honoured on numerous occasions too.
Indeed, no goalkeeper has been named UEFA's Best European Goalkeeper on more occasions than Neuer since the award was introduced in 1990.
