Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett has reportedly targeted a summer move for out-of-contract Sheffield Wednesday winger Jacques Maghoma.
Rowett managed Maghoma in League Two during his time in charge of Burton Albion and the latter's 17 goals in 2012-13 saw him earn a move to the Championship with Wednesday.
However, Maghoma couldn't match that form in the second tier and it was announced earlier this month that he was one of 11 out-of-contract players not to be offered new deals by the Owls.
According to The Star, Rowett is keen to link up again with Maghoma and offer him a lifeline in the Championship.
The 27-year-old managed just four goals in 66 total appearances for Wednesday in the last two seasons.
