Birmingham City have completed the signing of David Davis from fellow Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old signs a two-year contract with the Blues, with the option of a further year, and could make his debut in tomorrow night's Capital One Cup tie against Cambridge United.
"It's a very good move for him, it's a great opportunity. He's an excellent character," Wolves manager Kenny Jackett told the club's website.
"There's midfield players that are ahead of him at present and going to Birmingham gives him a great opportunity now to take his career further."
Davis, who made 18 league appearances for Wolves last season, almost joined Barnsley on loan earlier this summer.
