Eddie Howe delighted with Max Gradel goal

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe admits that he is delighted for Max Gradel after the winger scored in the 3-2 victory over Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has said that Max Gradel has been "a breath of fresh air" since he returned from injury.

Gradel has spent much of the campaign on the sidelines, but he opened the scoring for the Cherries against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon before they went on to record a 3-2 triumph.

The 38-year-old told BBC Sport: "It meant everything to the club and everything to the player himself who has had a difficult time, but the way he has come back is a breath of fresh air."

A third successive win for Bournemouth has moved the club 13 points clear of safety in the Premier League table, and they only need two more points from their last eight fixtures to reach the 40-point mark.
