Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has reportedly been backed to make a £57m double swoop for Levante midfielder Jefferson Lerma and Genoa left-back Diego Laxalt.
Lerma impressed at the World Cup for Colombia, as did Laxalt in Uruguay's own run to the last 16, and both men are said to be on Howe's radar.
According to The Sun, Bournemouth have been haggling with Levante for Lerma's signature and are now prepared to pay a club-record £32m.
That will be followed up with a move for Laxalt, who is said to be valued at £25m by Genoa following his eye-catching performances in Russia.
Speaking at the start of pre-season earlier this month, Howe confessed that he was not happy with his side's transfer business up to that point.
