Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly weighing up a £1m bid for Chesterfield skipper Sam Morsy.
The 23-year-old has already been strongly linked with both MK Dons and Cardiff City this summer.
However, with just five days to go until the transfer window closes, no move has yet transpired for the holding midfielder.
According to The Sun, Brighton are the latest side to show an interest and are expected to make a move in the coming days.
Morsy has scored twice for Chesterfield in his five appearances to date this season, with boss Dean Saunders recently admitting that it will be difficult to hold on to the Englishman should a bid be made.
