Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion are believed to have rejected bids from Hull City for winger Jiri Skalak and midfielder Oliver Norwood.

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly rejected bids from Hull City for winger Jiri Skalak and midfielder Oliver Norwood.

The two players are both in the final 12 months of their contracts at the Amex Stadium, while Tigers boss Nigel Adkins is believed to be seeking midfield options.

Adkins has previously worked with Norwood, having signed the 27-year-old when he was manager of Reading in 2014.

According to Sky Sports News, Hull have approached Brighton to discuss the potential of the duo moving to the KCOM Stadium but their interest has reportedly been rebuffed.

The Humbersiders begin their Championship campaign with a home game against beaten 2017-18 playoff finalists Aston Villa.
