Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly held talks with Reading over the potential sale of Sam Baldock.
The 29-year-old has spent the last four years at the Amex Stadium, scoring a total of 20 goals in 94 appearances in all competitions.
However, Baldock is now down the pecking order at the south coast club, and the Seagulls are likely to be willing to sell the frontman for the right price this summer.
According to the Brighton Argus, Reading hold an interest in a player who has spent the majority of his career in the EFL, and the Royals could make a bid in the coming weeks.
Paul Clement currently has five first-team strikers at his disposal and has already brought in Marc McNulty from Coventry City.
