Everton manager Frank Lampard has confirmed that Donny van de Beek will be unable to face Burnley due to fitness issues.
The Dutch midfielder has made six Premier League appearances since joining the Toffees in the January transfer window, but he is currently on the shelf.
The 24-year-old had to pull out of the recent 2-1 loss against West Ham United after suffering a thigh injury during the warm-up, and he is not back in time for tonight.
"Donny will not be fit tomorrow. It is a small grade thigh injury. He cannot play against Manchester United anyway so he will be fit for our next game," Lampard told the press.
The midfielder is on loan from the Red Devils until the end of this campaign, which is why he is unavailable for their next clash, meaning he will next feature on Wednesday, April 20 against Leicester City.
Tonight's match is a crucial game in the relegation battle as only four points separate the two teams, with Everton currently 17th in the Premier League table.
