Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton has reportedly opened talks about extending his stay at Turf Moor.
Heaton left Bristol City last summer to sign a two-year deal with the Clarets, and the 28-year-old soon established himself as the club's first-choice stopper during a successful campaign in the Championship.
The former Manchester United trainee was an ever-present as Burnley achieved promotion to the Premier League, and the club's hierarchy have moved to try to tie down Heaton's future in Lancashire.
Cardiff City are one of a number of clubs who have been linked with a move for Heaton during the summer transfer window.
