West Bromwich Albion's Jay Rodriguez tipped for Burnley return

West Bromwich Albion striker Jay Rodriguez is reportedly wanted by former club Burnley.

West Bromwich Albion striker Jay Rodriguez has been tipped for a summer return to his former club Burnley.

The Clarets could swoop for the 28-year-old if the Midlands club are relegated from the Premier League, as is expected, according to The Mirror.

Rodriguez has impressed for the Baggies this season despite the team struggling throughout the campaign, netting 11 goals in all competitions.

The forward played for Burnley between 2007 and 2012 before leaving the club to join Southampton.

Rodriguez is one of several players expected to leave The Hawthorns this summer, with Jonny Evans, Salomon Rondon and Nacer Chadli likely to receive offers from elsewhere if the club drops into the second tier.
