Bury's David Flitcroft is among the contenders for September's Manager of the Month award in League One.
The 42-year-old guided his side to a perfect five wins from five to climb into the automatic promotion zone, though defeat to Scunthorpe United at the weekend saw the Shakers slip back to third place.
It was also a solid month for Keith Hill at Rochdale, with 10 points accrued to help put a dismal start to the campaign - which saw Dale fail to win any of their opening seven games - firmly behind them.
Rob Page of Northampton Town and Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder are also in contention for the award - the former seeing his charges win four of their five games and score 13 goals in the process.
Wilder, nominated four times last season while in charge of the Cobblers, enjoyed an unbeaten September to help United remain firmly in playoff contention with a quarter of the season played.
The winner will be announced on Friday, October 14.
