Celtic have beaten off competition to land Ivory Coast striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo on a four-year deal.
The 21-year-old found himself in demand after netting 18 goals in 23 games for Slovakian side Dunajska Streda this season, with Parma and Rapid Vienna linked with the forward.
But it is the Hoops who won the race to sign the highly-rated frontman – who has two caps for his country – after striking a reported £2million deal, which remains subject to Bayo passing a medical and gaining a work permit.
He becomes Brendan Rodgers' third signing of the January transfer window following the loan arrivals of Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah.
Bayo joined Streda in March last year having previously spent two years playing in Tunisia.
As well as the 18 goals he has struck so far this term, Bayo also chipped in with seven assists while helping his former side climb up to second place in Slovakia's top flight.
