Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery believes that if Chelsea lose the Champions League final, they will find it difficult to recover from.

Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery believes that Chelsea will be "ruined" if they fail to claim the sought-after Champions League trophy this weekend.

The former Premier League champions are desperate to make history by clinching the coveted piece of silverware at the Allianz Arena tomorrow with Blues owner Roman Abramovich being well known to prioritise the European competition every year.

"Abramovich has wanted to win the Champions League for so long," said Ribery. "If they lose it on Saturday then it will be brutally tough. It would ruin them in the head and really lower morale."

Bayern have a slight advantage heading into the clash as they will be competing for the trophy at their home ground in Germany.
