Gary Cahill: 'Chelsea need to keep pushing'

Chelsea defender Gary Cahill calls on his teammates to stay focused following their win over Liverpool.

Gary Cahill has called on his Chelsea teammates to "keep pushing" following their win away to Liverpool in the Premier League.

The league leaders maintained their unbeaten start to the season on Saturday thanks to a narrow 2-1 victory at Anfield.

Chelsea are now eight points clear of third-placed Manchester City, but Cahill is eager for the side to stay focused during the coming weeks.

"It was massively important for us to keep our run going," he told the club's official website. "We had some tough moments in the game and I felt we dug in and defended well as a team.

"It feels amazing but we just need to keep going. We want to keep pushing and we want to keep winning games. We don't want to lose, it's a horrible feeling."

Chelsea continue their Premier League campaign November 22 when they entertain West Bromwich Albion.
