Chelsea allegedly want to make three more signings after closing in on a deal for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

Chelsea are allegedly prepared to make as many as five additions during the next transfer window.

With a deal already wrapped up for Ajax playmaker Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea are said to be on the brink of signing RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.

Despite the high profile of those two deals, The Guardian claims that the Blues are ready to add another three faces to their squad.

While a potential approach for Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell has been well documented, the report says that Bournemouth's Nathan Ake could return to Stamford Bridge.

Frank Lampard is also reportedly keen on Brentford winger Said Benrahma, who has starred in the Championship this season.

To coincide with any arrivals, Willian, Pedro, Michy Batshuayi and one of Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri are expected to leave the club later in 2020.
