Chelsea fans would seemingly like their club to sell two of their most experienced players during the summer transfer window.
A period of transition is about to materialise for the Blues now that Enzo Maresca has replaced Mauricio Pochettino as head coach.
The Italian, who left Leicester City to move to Stamford Bridge, is expected to deploy a possession-based style of football, which aligns with the preferences of the club's hierarchy.
Over the coming weeks and months, there will likely be numerous incomings and outgoings for several reasons, including Chelsea needing to ensure that they meet the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.
However, Maresca could also hand reprieves to players who dropped down the pecking order under the previous management and that could be the case with goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.

Chelsea fans want Sanchez sale
Although the Spain international was the undisputed number one before an injury in December, he failed to regain his place from Djordje Petrovic upon his return.
Nevertheless, it has recently been claimed that Maresca feels that he can get the best out of the 26-year-old, including with the ball at his feet with Maresca's preference being to play out from the back.
Sports Mole asked supporters whether they would like Chelsea to keep or sell Sanchez before the end of August, the response being pretty damning.
As many as 70.3% of fans would like to see Chelsea cash in on the former Brighton & Hove Albion stopper. By comparison, only 6.7% want Chelsea to sell Petrovic.

Chelsea supporters have a lower opinion of Sterling...
Raheem Sterling came away from the 2023-24 campaign with 10 goals and eight assists to his name from 43 appearances, solid numbers given that he was not always regarded as first choice.
However, the England international has never fully won over the fanbase, not helping himself when taking a penalty off Cole Palmer against Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-finals and missing the resulting spot kick.
Exactly 80% of Chelsea fans would like to see Sterling leave the club in the summer transfer window with patience seemingly having run out with the 29-year-old.
As it stands, it is unclear whether Maresca wants to retain the services of the former Manchester City winger, but the player is allegedly keen to stay put.
Meanwhile, Chelsea supporters have backed an alleged decision of Maresca's to keep one of their many youngsters in the senior ranks.
