Chelsea are reportedly considering whether to renew their interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi.
The Premier League giants were keen on signing the Morocco international from Inter Milan last summer before he decided to move to Parc des Princes.
However, despite making 41 appearances in all competitions during 2021-22, it has been claimed that the 23-year-old is currently unhappy with life at the French side.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea could be prepared to bring in Hakimi as a replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta, who is expected to depart Stamford Bridge.
Reece James would likely retain his spot as first-choice right wing-back under Thomas Tuchel, but Hakimi would represent world-class cover and competition.
A potential stumbling block is Chelsea likely not being prepared to meet the €71m (£60.5m) figure, which includes add-ons, that PSG shelled out less than a year ago.
