Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are both reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan's Denzel Dumfries.
Dumfries, 26, has been a regular fixture in Simone Inzaghi's side this season, starting all but two games in Serie A so far.
This season, he has featured 20 times in all competitions and has contributed two goals and three assists in total.
According to Calciomercatoweb, Inter have reportedly cut their asking price to just £26m.
Inter are bracing themselves for a January bidding war, with both Chelsea and Spurs looking to bolster their wing-back positions.
Chelsea's Reece James is currently sidelined with a knee issue that ruled him out of the World Cup for England and the club may decide to move for Dumfries to provide back-up in that position for Graham Potter.
Whereas for Spurs, summer arrival Djed Spence has failed to make an impact thus far, whilst Matt Doherty has only started three league games out of a possible 15 and Emerson Royal has also struggled to hold down a regular place.
Dumfries is currently preparing to be a key man for Louis van Gaal's Netherlands side at the World Cup, as he looks to add to the 37 caps he has already earned for his country.
