Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has hinted that he is interested in signing out-of-favour Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah and Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva.
Salah has found first-team chances limited under Jose Mourinho this season, making just six appearances in all competitions.
Lucas, meanwhile, appears to have fought his way into Brendan Rodgers's plans, having started five of the Reds' six games in December so far.
"Salah is a very interesting young prospect. [Ivan] Perisic is a good player, he has the right profile – but he isn't easy to get to, either," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Leiva is a big name too, his experience would come in handy. But he's with Liverpool, so we'll see. Clubs don't give away their players that easy."
Egypt international Salah is contracted to the Blues until 2019, having only joined from Basel last January, while the Brazilian is out of contract at Anfield in 2017.
