Willian: 'Oscar has said goodbyes'

Chelsea midfielder Willian says that Oscar has already "said goodbye" to his teammates ahead of a move to China.

Chelsea midfielder Willian has claimed that Oscar has already "said goodbye" to his teammates ahead of a move to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.

Although neither club has confirmed the transfer, it is widely thought that Oscar is on the verge of completing a £52m move to China, where he will collect wages in excess of £400,000 a week.

Willian, who shares a close relationship with his fellow Brazilian, has seemingly confirmed that the 25-year-old is heading for Shanghai to link up with former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.

"[Oscar] has already said goodbye, a good friend who goes away, but we wish the best for him and his family as well," The Mirror quotes Willian as telling a Brazilian journalist.

"We know that the career of a player is a race, it ends quickly, so when that opportunity comes, we will think about our family and make our footing stop when it stops, stop well."

Oscar joined Chelsea from Internacional in the summer of 2012 and has scored 38 times in 202 appearances for the Premier League outfit.
