Coventry City boss Steven Pressley has admitted that he is desperate to sign a striker following his team's 2-0 defeat to Leyton Orient on Tuesday.
The Sky Blues saw their winless run extended to three matches in League One as they were comfortably beaten at Brisbane Road.
Pressley now wants to boost his attacking options ahead of Leon Clarke's probable departure from the club.
Coventry's top scorer has been heavily linked with a move to rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in recent weeks.
"I think that performance was crying out for strikers and I'm working hard to help this group out because they have given me everything," the Scot is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We are working morning, noon and night to get strikers in but it's very difficult to get the right players in."
Coventry continue their League One campaign on Saturday when they entertain Walsall.
