Yannick Bolasie thrilled by Crystal Palace hat-trick

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie expresses his delight at scoring a hat-trick during the team's 4-1 win away to Sunderland.

Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie has admitted that he is thrilled to have scored a hat-trick during the team's 4-1 hammering of Sunderland.

Bolasie became the first Palace player to score three goals in a single Premier League match on Saturday as the Eagles boosted their hopes of a top-half finish with a convincing win at the Stadium of Light.

The 25-year-old has now found the net four times in all competitions this season.

"To score a Premier League hat-trick is a dream come true so it's a special afternoon for me," he told the club's official website. "I haven't scored enough goals so for three to come along like that was great.

"The gaffer has been onto me about getting goals so I got some for him and credit to him for putting me in the position he put me in. If more goals come, they come. I'm not going to try and force things but credit to my teammates, they're helping to give me good habits in training and it's come together."

Palace continue their league campaign next Saturday when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to Selurst Park.
