Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle could reportedly be forced to train with the club's youth team if he snubs a move to Bristol City.
City have had a bid of around £6m accepted for the striker, but reports earlier today claimed that the 24-year-old was likely to reject the drop down to the Championship.
Now the Daily Mail claims that Gayle has been told by Palace that he faces being axed from first-team training as well as the squad if he does not accept the proposed move.
The forward was the Eagles' record signing when he joined from Peterborough for around £6m in 2013, but he struggled to hold down a regular place in Alan Pardew's side last season.
Gayle is likely to be even further down the pecking order this season following the arrivals of Patrick Bamford and Connor Wickham.
