Derby County have reportedly identified Wigan Athletic's James McClean as a possible transfer target this summer.
The Rams are unlikely to be able to re-loan Patrick Bamford from Chelsea and are said to be eyeing up a new winger.
McClean was in and out of the Wigan team last season under Uwe Rosler after signing from Sunderland, starting just over half of the club's league games in the Championship.
Despite being under contract at the DW Stadium for two more years, Derby are considering testing Wigan's resolve with a bid of around £1m, according to the Sunday People.
If McClean does become a Ram, he could be a replacement for Jamie Ward, who has been linked with a move away.
