Germany have been banned from training on the Wembley pitch ahead of their Euro 2020 last-16 tie against England on Tuesday due to bad weather.
After discussions were held with the ground staff at Wembley, Italy and Austria were also not allowed to train on the pitch before their game on Saturday over fears the field will be damaged with the amount of rain forecasted.
Germany have now had to alter their preparations for the fixture and will have an extra session at their training base in Herzogenaurach, before flying to London later in the day on Monday.
Sky Sports News reports that the German media have called the decision a scandal and say it has given the home side an unfair advantage, but UEFA have backed the prevention of training on the pitch.
The European footballing body claims that the decision was unavoidable as thunderstorms and heavy rain is due to fall on North-West London for 48 hours prior to kick off.
England last faced Germany in a friendly fixture in 2017, which ended as a goalless draw at Wembley.
