Former England international Danny Mills believes that the Three Lions need to change their playing style for next year's World Cup in Brazil.
Roy Hodgson's men secured their place in the finals courtesy of goals from Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard against Poland at Wembley last night.
However, Mills believes that England will have to adapt their approach when they face "higher class opposition" in South America.
"It was a typical England performance last night, all cut and thrust, but you cannot play like that against higher class opposition, particularly in the heat of the summer," Mills told BBC Radio 5 live. "We need to change the way we play."
Mills is part of the Football Association's commission to improve the development of the national team.
