Everton are reportedly in no rush to find their next academy manager following the departure of Alan Irvine.
The 55-year-old has left his post on Merseyside to take on the head coach role at West Bromwich Albion.
According to the Liverpool Echo, senior team manager Roberto Martinez, who recently signed a new five-year deal, plans to take his time in finding a suitable replacement.
Irvine helped shape numerous youngsters at Finch Farm, including Ross Barkley, who is currently with the England squad at the World Cup in Brazil.
