Everton's Kevin Mirallas admits to being impressed by the performances of Marouane Fellaini this season.

Kevin Mirallas has heaped praise on his Everton teammate Marouane Fellaini for the impact that he has had on the club so far this season.

Fellaini is Everton's leading goalscorer on 11 goals and scored a late brace as the Toffees battled back from 3-1 down to claim a share of the spoils against Aston Villa on Saturday.

Reflecting on his fellow Belgian's contribution, Mirallas has challenged him to continue his positive form until the end of the campaign.

"It's certainly not the first time he's helped us," Mirallas told the club's official website. "Let's hope he can keep doing that for us until the end of the season. It's down to him that we got that valuable point in the end."

Mirallas has scored three Premier League goals for the Merseysiders since his summer arrival.
