Everton are reportedly considering a move for Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins.
Frank Lampard is keen to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes after Richarlison joined Tottenham Hotspur this summer, while Anthony Gordon is being linked with a move away from the club.
The Toffees are also without the services of Dominic Calvert-Lewin due to a knee injury, which has left Everton desperate to strengthen in the final third.
According to Football Insider, Everton are believed to be looking at the possibility of signing Watkins from Aston Villa.
The report suggests that Villa boss Steven Gerrard has a strained relationship with the striker, and would be open to letting the 26-year-old leave to fund a new attacking addition.
Watkins - who has three years left on his current contract - has scored 27 goals in 78 appearances for Villa.
