Everton are reportedly interested in signing Borussia Dortmund attacker Mario Gotze.
The 27-year-old will see his current deal with BVB expire at the end of the 2019-20 campaign, and it seems unlikely that the German will be signing a fresh deal with the Bundesliga club.
The attacker has only played 26 minutes of Bundesliga football this season, while he was not used in Dortmund's Champions League clash with Barcelona earlier this month.
Inter Milan have recently been linked with a move for the 2014 World Cup winner, but according to Augsburger Allgemeine, Everton are also in the hunt for his signature.
Gotze would be free to agree a pre-contract with a foreign club at the start of 2020 - allowing him to move on a free transfer at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The 63-time Germany international has made over 200 appearances for BVB in all competitions - returning for a second spell in 2016 following three years at Bayern Munich.
