Fulham have announced that Alex Kacaniklic has signed a new two-year contract with the club.
The 20-year-old made a number of first-team appearances towards the end of last season after impressing during a loan spell at Championship side Watford.
Kacaniklic was delighted to commit his long-term future to the Cottagers.
He told the club's official website: "I'm very, very happy to have signed a contract extension with the club, it's the perfect start for me ahead of the new season.
"When you have a manager that believes in you it makes it much easier, he has told me to keep working hard and I'm aiming to start a lot more games more season."
Kacaniklic will hope to be involved in Fulham's opening game of the season against Norwich City on August 18.
